Welcome to the First National Coalition for French Peace and Cooperation. We are gathered here today in Paris to discuss the many issues which are currently plaguing our country. Evidently our great country is divided, with those who support King Louis XVI and the monarchical system, and those who do not, and thus look to Britain’s constitutional monarchy or the newly founded democracy of the United States as examples of a new way of governing. After the recent Storming of the Bastille, which occurred yesterday (July 11th 1789), it is clear that the people of France are not happy with the status quo; therefore, we, as the greatest thinkers, politicians, and public figures of France, must gather together to restore our falling nation. This committee will be chaired by a monarchical representative, as Louis XVI himself has approved and asked for this group of influential members of the French community to meet so that he may be, and appear, responsive to the people of France. This committee will be chaired by a monarchical representative, as Louis XVI himself has approved and asked for this group of influential members of the French community to meet so that he may appear to be responsive to the people of France. In order for this committee to be a success you must cooperate with each other and show a comprehensive understanding of the issues plaguing our nation, as well as prepare and present possible solutions to these problems. The fate of France and its people is in your hands. Good luck!
